After decades of philanthropy behind-the-scenes, the founder and board chair of Reemprise Fund sought to shift the model from individual giving to a 501c3 in order to preserve and build the legacy of the game-changing model of unrestricted funding.

Due to the independent nature of the Reemprise Fund prior to their shift of the 501c3 model, there was no existing owned presence or messaging hierarchy. We needed to put the fundamental narrative building blocks in place, and then create a digital experience that is appropriate for both non-profit partners and potential investors, but able to be managed by a small team.

Working together as a small but mighty team of two, we firstly collaborated on a cohesive narrative and art direction that is disruptive enough to capture and communicate the fundamental values and character of Reemprise Fund without negatively impacting potential investors. Then, a brand video that is also easily broken down into tableaus leverages new core messages in an engaging way to help make new introductions at scale. Finally, a website to help different audiences discover, wayfind and connect with the organization.

Positioned at the nexus of trust-based principles and venture philanthropy, Reemprise identifies high-potential funding opportunities in pursuit of game-changing results and lasting impact. In this work there are usually many unknowns. We do not shy away from uncertainties but embrace them in collaboration with our grantees. Our two decade track record attests to our reputation as an involved, creative community partner and leading-edge Charlotte grantor.
A simple yet effective website, the organization’s first ever, created pathways for both funders and partners to easily get to know the Reemprise Fund way. With no existing content to build from, additional value was created by utilizing new visual assets from the brand video.
